General Hospital 2 is a sequel to the original hit Korean drama series, continues the story twelve years later. It takes more than just good grades to become a great doctor. Jung Ha Yoon passed her exams but wants to learn first-hand what it's like to be a doctor so she can represent patients in medical malpractice cases in the future. As she begins her internship at Sungui University Medical Hospital, she realizes the true dedication of the doctors and other medical staff around her. She and her fellow interns Choi Jin Sang, Baek Hyun Woo, and Kang Eun Ji learn about excellent patient care from staff doctor Kim Do Hoon, who puts the needs of his patients above any concerns about his career. That often puts Do Hoon at odds with star staff surgeon Han Ki Tae, who selectively chooses his patients so that he can maintain his unblemished surgery record.
